Flirting By Tweeting

Have you done flirting through Twitter? Ever since the Academy Awards was held almost half a year ago, Twitter has been one of the most in-demand social networking sites aside from Facebook. One thing is because Tweeting is simple; it’s like posting a status but using only 140 characters. Because of the rise of Twitter, more and more people are getting hooked on to this that it’s now becoming another source of flirting that is, Twitter Flirting (or as some people calls it, “Twirting”).
Twitter started in 2006 in San Francisco, California and has since then gained more and more users from all over the world. Moreover, flirting via Twitter is easy but requires a skillful and creative mind. It doesn’t take a few minutes to tweet someone with flirty moves but you may want to watch what you say, otherwise you’ll end up with a suspended account. A simple yet flirty “RT or re-tweet” (meaning a “reply to a tweet”) to the hot guy or woman you are following is one of many ways of flirting via Twitter. Compliment is key. If you see that the man or woman you are eyeing on posted an update, RT him or her by tweeting something that will trigger interest… not in a sleazy way, but something flirty yet sweet and respectful.
Do you remember the news about John Mayer apparently “flirting” with Demi Lovato on Twitter? Take his tweet as an example. Upon the release of Demi Lovato’s new single, Mayer tweeted back by saying, “I have ‘La La Land’ by @ddlovato stuck in my head.” It may not be appropriate for his age flirting with a 16 year-old, but his flirting moves was actually smooth. Tell that to the dating woman his age and she’ll probably tweet back.
Twitter allows users to post thoughts about anything and everything for everyone or a semi-public to see. Moreover, people who thinks of flirting via Twitter should follow users first… but don’t expect to be Followed back. Another technique to get noticed is to always put an “@” sign, followed by the person’s username. By doing so the person you are flirting with (or plans to flirt with) will receive a notification that someone re-tweeted him/her. Make sure you pay attention to their tweets (but avoid sounding stalker-ish), re-tweet one or two, and make use of some winks and smileys.
Twitter is just one but many of the ways a person could find a prospect date or love online. However, the most important thing to do to start flirting by tweeting is by starting to say something short, sweet and direct.
